You are about to indulge in the best experience at DVHS! Technology education is a student program that combines laboratory-based
classroom work with practical, hands-on experiences to prepare students for the ever-changing technology world.
Technology Education is a comprehensive, action-based discipline for grades 9-12 designed to incorporate information technologies,
physical technologies, and biotechnologies in promoting the integration of academic and career skills with an emphasis on
problem solving and decision making that is essential in developing the human potential needed to compete in a technological
society.
Computers are often used in class projects and research but they are one tool of many. Other tools may include materials
testing stands, CNC router, rocketry, robotics, fuel cell kits, LEGOs, electricity breadboards, magnetic levitation tracks,
CO2 cars, wind tunnel and other hands-on project tools. In Advanced Placement, the Technology Education classes include Aerospace
Technology, TV Production, Illustrative Drafting & Design (CAD), Communication Technology, Energy and Power, Technology
Studies and more.

you must have your permission slip signed and with you when you get on the bus.
